Welcome to Steepster, The Blog!
What you’ll get here:
Cheers and welcome to the Steepster blog! We’re excited to see the site continue to grow and we thought this would be an awesome place to talk about Steepster going-ons. We’ll use this forum to discuss everything Steepster as well as share some info about us and our many tea related musings. Check here for more detailed information about the reasons for building Steepster the way we do and how certain features will help you become the best tea drinker you can be.
The people behind the blog:
All of us on the Steepster team will take a crack at our communication skills and hopefully pass along a few pearls of wisdom to you. But just to give you a little idea of what to expect, here’s some things that each of us may be ranting about:
Jack: Our lead designer and usability guru, Jack is the one who makes the site look so damn slick. From time to time Jack may discuss the visual workings of Steepster and how they better help guide your tealogging experience. You can also check out some of his design philosophies and general thoughts at his personal blog at http://www.jackcheng.com.
Jason: Our marketing master and basically the guy with the biggest mouth (me!). Send us an email or talk to us on Twitter and you’re probably talking to Jason. He also spends his time studying usability with Jack and evaluating user strategy for Steepster and its new features. Jason will be writing here the most, talking about Steepster news and things to come.
Mike: Our lead developer and code sensei (the guy pulling all the strings behind the scenes). Mike spends most of his time deep behind enemy lines making sure everything works like it’s supposed; to keep you logging your teas daily. Mike may pop in from time to time to talk about the site setup and how he gets everything working at such a break neck speed.
What’s inside your head:
Feel free to submit your thoughts and ask questions about specific blog posts in the comments under each post. Shoot your blog related questions to blog@steepster.com and tell us how you feel, or maybe even suggest a topic you’d like us to cover. We’ll do our best to respond to what you have to say about Steepster and the blog.
We hope you enjoy the brand spanking new Steepster blog!
