A non-private message about private messaging…
Here it is, the moment you’ve been waiting for… private messaging!
You’ll notice a new tab in the top navigation bar labeled “Inbox”. Click that to access your very own Steepster Inbox where you can send, read, and respond to messages from your friends on Steepster.
You can also send messages to multiple friends at the same time, to help you coordinate three-way… tea swaps. Keep in mind that you can only send messages to people who are following you (similar to Twitter’s Direct Messages). This way, people you don’t know won’t be able to send you unwanted messages. But it also means that if you’re looking to message another member, make sure you’re following each other :)
We hope everyone has fun with this shiny new feature: Use it to give custom tea recommendations, arrange tea swaps or just shoot the breeze with the greatest group of tea drinkers on the Web. Enjoy!
